Accomodation

Those of you who won’t couchsurf will be staying at “Jugenddorf Falckenstein” Youth Village Falckenstein. (You can  find their website here:  http://www.jugenddorf-falckenstein.de/index.php?id=startseite).

The Youth Village is in Falckenstein, a part of Kiel that is situated in the north, directly at the Baltic Sea. We booked 5 summer houses of which each has room for up to 16 people to stay in. If required, there will be a “quiet zone” – a house for those of you who prefer to sleep early and prefer a very quiet sleeping environment. Furthermore you can choose to sleep in a gender-specific summer house.

As there will be beds in the summer houses, you won’t have to bring a camping mat or a sleeping bag,   However you should bring some bed sheets – unless you would like to rent them for 5 €. The blankets have a size of 135x200cm, the pillows a size of 50x50cm. Toilets and sanitary fittings will be  in a seperate building nearby. Furthermore, a buffet-style breakfast will be provided.

For those of you who won’t stay at the Youth Village, breakfast will be provided at the conference office.
